West Main Self Storage has acquired 15,226,092 satoshis for approximately $10,000 at an acquisition price of approximately $65,677 per bitcoin. This is the company’s fifty-second consecutive weekly purchase since launching its dollar-cost averaging program on July 29, 2025 — fifty-two weeks, fifty-two buys, zero interruptions.
As of July 20, 2026, West Main holds 1,587,823,911 satoshis (~15.88 BTC) acquired across 52 weekly DCA purchases, one $800,000 lump-sum acquisition, and one tax-loss harvest recapture, for an aggregate capital deployment of approximately $1,320,000. Post-TLH adjusted cost basis stands at approximately $66,681 per bitcoin — meaning this week’s fill at ~$65,677 once again landed below the company’s average cost.
At a sats-per-square-foot ratio of 22,873, every square foot of the West Main facility is now backed by nearly 23,000 satoshis — up from just 121 sats per square foot after the program’s first purchase one year ago. That is a 188x increase in bitcoin backing per square foot of real estate in twelve months.
When West Main began buying bitcoin in July 2025, the program was easy to dismiss. A single self-storage facility in Rhode Island, buying $10,000 of bitcoin a week, was affectionately — and sometimes not so affectionately — referred to as “a bitcoin treasury company for ants.” Next to the billion-dollar corporate treasuries dominating the headlines, our first week’s stack of 8.4 million satoshis barely registered.
We took the nickname as a compliment. Ants are the most successful acquirers in nature: they move grain by grain, in columns, without ego and without pause, and in aggregate they carry many multiples of their own weight. One year later the colony’s ledger speaks for itself — from 8,405,817 sats after week one to 1,587,823,911 sats today, a treasury of nearly 15.9 bitcoin built one disciplined purchase at a time.
The lesson of year one is not the size of any single buy. It is that the process never broke. Through a market high above $118,000 and a drawdown below $59,000, through a $1.6 million capital raise, a tax-loss harvest that lowered our adjusted basis, and fifty-two consecutive Mondays, the allocation never changed and no buy was ever skipped. Small, relentless, and coordinated wins. Ask any ant.
The first purchase on July 29, 2025 filled at approximately $118,033 per bitcoin. Fifty-two weeks of mechanical averaging — supplemented by a lump-sum acquisition and a tax-loss harvest recapture — brought the company’s post-TLH adjusted cost basis to approximately $66,681 per bitcoin. That outcome was not produced by market timing, forecasts, or conviction trades. It was produced by showing up every week regardless of price.
Alongside the treasury, the underlying business kept compounding: a fully operational self-storage facility generating rental income, rooftop solar production offsetting operating costs, and Strategy Preferred (STRC) holdings distributing monthly digital credit income that services the company’s capital structure. Real estate pays the bills. The colony stacks the sats.
Week 53 opens the second year of the program — and year two will not simply be a repeat of year one. The weekly discipline stays, but the company is now evaluating new strategies to accelerate bitcoin accumulation: growing the treasury beyond 16 BTC, pushing sats per square foot to new highs, and putting every arm of the business — storage rents, solar production, and digital credit income — to work stacking harder. The colony spent year one proving the process. Year two is about scaling it. Watch this space.
West Main Self Storage is a privately held self-storage facility located at 825 West Main Road, Middletown, Rhode Island. The company operates a Bitcoin treasury strategy alongside its core real estate operations, acquiring bitcoin weekly through a disciplined dollar-cost averaging approach and supplementing with periodic lump-sum allocations. West Main also holds Strategy Preferred Securities (STRC) as part of its digital credit strategy and produces solar energy income from its rooftop array.
